Hennings viewing platform
Description
The viewing platform, named after Friedrich Hennings, chief engineer of the Albula Line, offers a spectacular view of the Landwasser Viaduct and the surrounding landscape. It is located above the tunnel after the Schmittentobel Viaduct and provides a view of passing trains. The platform can be reached in just five minutes from the “Schmitten GR Landwasser Viaduct” stop via a well-maintained path. The platform can also be reached on foot from the Landwasser Viaduct (15 minutes), from the car park (25 minutes), from Schmitten village (40 minutes) and from Filisur station (50 minutes).
